- A. Get Equivalency certificate from IBCC for the admission.
- Q. I don't have CNIC?
- A. Enter your Form-B (Children Registration Certificate) number, Apply for your CNIC at NADRA on urgent basis.
- Q. Where can i pay my deposit slip?
- A. You can pay via cash at Bank of khyber nationwide branches or pay by 1 Bill ID printed on your deposit slip
- Q. Who can apply ?
- A. Candidate from all over pakistan can apply.
- Q. How much is the fee ?
- A. Fee Amount is printed on the deposit slip once you submit the form online.
- Q. Any Marks deduction from improvment of FSc Marks ?
- A. No Marks are deducted.
- Q. What are the basic eligibility criteria for appearing in the KMU-CAT?
- A. Candidates who have passed FSc (Pre-Medical) Part-I or an equivalent examination are eligible to appear in the KMU-CAT. Students awaiting the completion of FSc Part-II may also apply, provided they fulfill all prescribed eligibility requirements at the time of admission.
- Q. When registration start, and what will is the last date to apply?
- A. Registration for KMU-CAT is opened in june every year.
Candidates can submit their online applications through the KMU-CAT online portal with in due date.
Applicants are advised to complete their registration well before the deadline to avoid any last-minute inconvenience.
- Q. How many times the KMU-CAT is conducted each year?
- A. The KMU-CAT is conducted multiple times each year, depending on the schedule announced by Khyber Medical University (KMU). In most cases, the test is held three times annually. Candidates may appear in any scheduled test session by completing a new registration for each attempt.
- Q. If a student does not get a good score, can they take the test again?
- A. Students who are not satisfied with their score may retake (KMU-CAT) in a subsequent test session, subject to the applicable rules and schedule.
- Q. If a student wants to retake the test, do they need to complete a new registration, or is the previous registration valid?
- A. Student just need to login again and register for the new test he wants to appear.
- Q. Will candidates have to pay the test fee again when registering for another attempt?
- A. Yes. Candidates are required to pay the prescribed KMU-CAT test fee for each new registration.
- Q. Can candidates choose any test center they prefer, or must they select a center according to their domicile?
- A. Candidates may select their preferred KMU-CAT test center from the available options during the registration process. Selection of a test center is not restricted by domicile and is subject to seat availability.
- Q. In which cities will the test be held?
- A. Peshawar, Swabi, Mardan, Malakand, Swat, Dir Lower, Parachinar

- Q. When and where can candidates download their roll number slips?
- A. Candidates can download their KMU-CAT roll number slips from the KMU-CAT online portal after they are issued by Khyber Medical University. The availability of roll number slips will be announced on the official KMU website and KMU-CAT portal before the test.
- Q. What documents must candidates bring with them on the test day?
- A. On the test day, candidates must bring their KMU-CAT Roll Number Slip and the original Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC), Smart Card, Juvenile Card, or B-Form (as applicable) for identity verification. Candidates without the required documents may not be permitted to appear in the test.
- Q. Is it possible to get admission to any institution without taking the KMU-CAT?
- A. No. Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate health sciences programs in the constituent and affiliated institutions of Khyber Medical University (KMU) are required to qualify the KMU-CAT, wherever it is prescribed as an admission requirement. Admission cannot be granted without a valid KMU-CAT score for programs that require the test.
- Q. Can students apply for the test before their FSc results are announced?
- A. Yes. Students who have passed FSc Part-I (Pre-Medical) or an equivalent examination are eligible to register for the KMU-CAT. However, admission to undergraduate programs will be subject to meeting all prescribed eligibility criteria, including successful completion of FSc Part-II or its equivalent.
- Q. After depositing the fee in the designated bank, what should the candidate do next?
- A. After depositing the prescribed KMU-CAT test fee in the designated bank, the candidate should log in to the KMU-CAT online portal, enter or verify the payment details (if required), complete the remaining registration process, and submit the application
- Q. The advertisement advises candidates to keep the original fee challan safe. Why is this important?
- A. Candidates are advised to keep the original fee challan safe as proof of payment. It may be required for verification or to resolve any payment-related issues during the registration, test, or admission process.
- Q. How early should candidates arrive at the test center on the examination day?
- A. Reporting time will be mentioned on the rollno slip, Candidates must have to reach to their center by that reporting time.
- Q. What should a candidate do if they lose their roll number slip or original CNIC/identity document before the test?
- A. If a candidate loses their KMU-CAT Roll Number Slip, they should download and print a new copy from the KMU-CAT online portal before the test. If the original CNIC, Smart Card, Juvenile Card, or B-Form is lost, the candidate must obtain a valid replacement or an officially recognized proof of identity, as only valid identification documents are accepted for entry to the examination center.
- Q. If a candidate is unable to appear in the test for any reason, will the test fee be refunded?
- No. The KMU-CAT test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. If a candidate is unable to appear in the test for any reason, the fee will not be refunded or adjusted for a future test attempt.
